ENGINEERING MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL(EMI) sent a team of engineering professionals to Yendi in Ghana at the request of WADSO. Their mission was to assess and produce comprehensive plans for constructing an orphanage, and develop the plans for the infrastructure needed to support Nazareth Home for All God’s Children. The engineers who made the trip paid their own fares and volunteered their own vacation time to complete this project.
FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, FORT COLLINS has invested in Elim School, Faith Alive Nigeria, and Transformation International since 2007. The congregation donated generously to WADSO’s 2014 Christmas Campaign and continues to be a sustaining donor.
SAINT JOHN XXIII, FORT COLLINS‘ investments were instrumental to successfully completing prior projects.
PROJECT C.U.R.E., located in Colorado Springs, Colorado provided three shipping containers of refurbished and very up-to-date medical equipment to Madonna Hospital in Umuahia, Nigeria. The medical equipment is invaluable in aiding the various medical disciplines in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Countless volunteer hours were spent in finding and updating the equipment, as well as in moving it to and from the warehouse.
H.E.L.P. INTERNATIONAL, located in Loveland, CO, contributed many medical supplies and countless hours in procuring the supplies to Madonna Hospital in Umuahia, Nigeria.
ROTARIANS of The Fort Collins Breakfast Club, The Parker Colorado Rotary Club and the Rotary Club of Umuahia, Nigeria joined with WADSO and generously contributed money to defray the expense of shipping the containers which contained the medical equipment from Project C.U.R.E. Without these valuable partnerships, the equipment would not have made it to West Africa.
