Headmistress Kate Clement, a Nigerian, struggled to attend school as a child after her father, the family’s wage earner, died. Since then, Kate felt a call to make sure that orphans and widows’ children have access to quality education. She founded and leads Elim School in Jos, Nigeria that provides education and hope to more than 200 students. About 50 of them are orphans and widows’ children who cannot afford to pay full or partial tuition–but that doesn’t stop Kate from enrolling them. WADSO partners with Elim School to provide partial scholarships for those 50 children. Please consider sponsoring one or more child at just $170 per year. You can be a sustaining donor by paying annually ($170) or monthly ($15) via the Donate Now page.
